Favorite Book of the School Year (Due Friday, April 27th!)
What's your favorite book that you have read this year, inside or outside of the classroom? Why did you like it? What other sorts of readers do you think would enjoy the book? Remember, your post should be at least 5-7 sentences!
My favorite book is Calico Joe by John Grisham. Calico Joe is about a eleven year old boy whose father is a pitcher for the Mets. In 1978, the Cubs call up a young rookie. He starts with a bang going 5 for 5 with 4 homers. When Joe eventually faces Paul Tracey's dad, Warren, he beans him and Joe is paralyzed on his left side. Warren, 40 years later, is dying of cancer so Paul arranges a meeting between Joe and Warren. Warren Eventually Warren dies and Joe attends his funeral. This an excellent book
my Favorite book of this year water ship down.this is a classic book that i think evreyone should read. it is about a groop of rabits fleeing from there doomed waren to find a safe place away from the influnce of humans.were thev can start there own waren in peace. On the way to finding the right place for there waren they encounter many chalenges along the way.some of these chalenges are forests other crazy dosile rabits that go all bezerk. once they find the right place for there waren they start out there own home and live happly ever after on the hill they call water ship down
My favorite book I read this year was The Hunger Games. I like it because of the detail it gave. It was a science fiction book in the future. There was a lot of fighting like in Star Wars. There was a small family like mine. The bows they had were accurate during the games. I realy loved the book.
My favorite book this year is probably ship breaker. It’s just a page turner. Each page is loaded with an explosive set of phrases. The chapters are chalk filled with plot twists and tragedy. The hope just barely scrapes by and creates a wonderful book, with an ending which you’ll never see coming.
My favorite book this year is The Testament by John Grisham. It is the most interesting have ever read. there is action almost every page, some parts get a litte slow. For the most part it is a great book. It is about a rich man who wants to die, especially his heirs. I know a ton of old people who had really enjoyed the book, and I tried it and liked it. Harrison
My favorite book this past years has so far been Maze Runner. Its a great book about some kids thrown into a maze. The kids are trying to map it out, but at night grievers come out. Grievers are a sort of animal-machine hellbent on killing everyone. They eventually find a strange portal and escape. The Maze runner was a nonstop heart-throbbing adventure.
the best book iv ever read is probably the hunger games. the book was very engaging and exciting and every time i read it, i looked forward to finishing the next chapter. although it was a great book, it was also the only one i read this year so it was the best book i read in 2012 -evan
The best book I have read this year would have to be Pathfinder. It was very interesting and its one of those books that is very hard to wrap your brain around like inception, and in the end it all comes together. I started reading it last year picked it back up earlier this year and I am glad I did. I would suggest this book to advanced readers because sometimes it gets confusing.
My favorite book I have read this year is the Hunger games by Suzanne Collins It was a violent fast book.It was not to long or short it had good vocabulary and a great book!
My favorite book would have to be The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I liked it because it had a bunch of action, it was a good timed read, (not to long or short) and it was one of the three books I've read so far this year! :)
I don't really have one favorite book, but I do have a favorite series. My favorite series is Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I like it because it was filled with action and creative stuff.Like in the third when the arena is a clock. You never wanted to put any of the books down because you always wanted to find out what would happen next. All in all the book was very creative and good.
