| A "Utopia" is an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect. The word was first used in the book Utopia (1516) by Sir Thomas More. During this unit, we are going to read about worlds that were created to be "perfect" but failed and ended up stripping citizens of choice, individuality, and freedom. |

My world everyone would work together on everything. All they would be doing is homework complementing on each other and work. Everyone has the same amount of money so if someone works more hours one day they will have to give it to a person who does not have a job and has less money. In the school each person has a PC and Whatever kind of food and drink they want. The teachers will be robots and in the school you would learn languages and play sports and hang out with friends and lunch. The school would be very big. You would get your license when you go take the test and pass you don`t have to be a certain age. People would eat healthy food ,and drink water mostly and almost everyone would grow coffee beans. The houses would be huge with big garages. Everyone would own whatever cars they wanted.

ReplyDeleteIn my perfict world there would be no war or poverty.Evreyone would have food to feed there family. there would be no terorism and no one would have to live in fear of whear there next meal would come from or if there family is safe or not .Evrey one would have the choise of a proper education and fredom to say or do whatever they wanted with out fear of judgement. And no one was an outcast or frendles.
In my perfect world, the government would be larger and faster to get things done. All jobs would be run by the government so that there would not be companies going out of business and people would not get laid off as much. Things like worrying about energy and water bills would be written about in fiction novels that kids would read and be glad they live in the utopian society that they do. In my Utopia, there would be all the countries divided up like states and then an UN like congress that votes for the countries like the congress or senate. Since all countries would be ruled by one ultimate government, there would be no wars between nations and the whole world could work together to help each other and try to improve way of life in the world and get rid of famine and poverty. If all nations worked together, we could attempt to make greater things and accomplish more efficient projects and things to help the world. If everyone banded together, we could rid the world of crisis such as global climate change, famine, food and water crisis, and disease apocalypse. We could do amazing things together like colonizing other worlds and planets and mine on asteroids for all our resources. If we got a good, wise leader in place, we could make the world a democracy and make the global religion christian. Secondary objectives after all that is done, or before within our culture, is eliminate racism and crime with more strict laws in place about rape, murder, and theft. For the mentally impaired population, we could try to get them help. Everyone could make their own food at home or go to significantly more healthy fast food restaurants for convenience and money saving. Also, everyone would go to improved public schools with an education better than the best modern day private schools and every kid would grow up with more than a chance of what they want to do when they grow up and everyone would live in a good neighborhood under exciting but good living conditions.

ReplyDeleteChandler P. said: In my perfect world everyone can eat whatever they want and live wherever they want and choose whatever job they want. It would snow, rain and be sunny twice a month. The government would be fair on taxes. There would be a law that says no killing other people, no stealing,no fighting and no blowing up stuff. The government would give $17,000 to poor people if they are good. People could play sports anywhere in the world. Students would have laptops and could do work anytime they want.
ReplyDeleteIn my perfect world everyone would be educated. I would achieve this by everyone taking a test. After 20 years of schooling you would take a test. The test would be very hard and if you don't pass you are executed. This would go on for about five generations, then after all the infrastructure is built school is a little bit easier, and you don't get executed. But every six generations the intense test go for one generation. Taxes would be pretty high, and the people that fail the tests have to assemble the super advanced robots that wage our intergalactic space wars.
ReplyDeleteIn my perfect world, there will be no poverty and no wars. There would be no taxes. The government would be smaller. It would only control the military. UPS and FedEx would each get half the country. All the schools would be private. To get your driver's license you would take a test, no matter what your age. The prisons would also be controlled by the government. They would not control Social Security.

In my perfect world America would collide with china due to continental drift so one huge government would form using the islands like Hawaii in the equator we would make lots of crops un necessary things like the navy would be shut down and over sea trading would crumble but America would sweep the continent with huge amounts of military force and destroy all the terrorists and opposing threats after that we would force all fire arms to be relinquished and disposed of after all threat of human assault only rifles would be sold in order to hunt. The plants used in making harmful drugs would be exterminated. All fossil fuel pumps would be shut down and the government would be disposed of because a government of that magnitude won’t pay any penalties if they disobey rule in the declaration or other treaty instead the continent would be divided up into states and each person would choose and vote for what they wanted. Each state could not choose something that has already been chosen so if you didn’t like what your state had chosen you could move and live where ever you wanted. Under a universal rule the police would adapt and customize themselves so the rules in that state were enforced
ReplyDeleteI believe a utopia is where everyone gets what they want

In my perfect world all people would respect and understand each other. Also, I would see a world where each and every country is run by democracy and the people of each country would have rights as human citizens of their own country. Every single person, rich or poor, black or white, Christian or Jewish, every one of them would get the exact same education. Also, I believe that wars should not exist and nuclear weapons should be destroyed creating less tension between countries. Taxes would be higher for richer people and lower for poorer people. At least in my perspective, the world would be a much better place if all this were true.
ReplyDeleteIn my utopia world all foods would taste great and you could eat it when ever you wanted. there would be no scool, but your very smart. Thereare still sports, just for the fun of it.there is only one giant country.there is always somthing to do, and its always fun. every one is eqal in ability to do things. So there is no competition.

In my perfect world, there will be absolutely no wars. The government will sometimes work together as one big government to save time and get things done quicker. Also, there will be no poverty or terrorism, and you will always know your family is safe. You don't go to school, but you are very educated from birth. (Like you automatically learn to breath, like that.) Other little things include: Bags of chips will always be full to the top, stickers will always come of clean, all the kernels of corn will pop in the microwave, and someone will always have a pen when you need it.
ReplyDeleteIn my perfect world Canada would take over the U.S and Mexico. It would be one giant country called The United Provinces os Canada.Everyone would have to take a series of exams at 18 to decide what job is best for them. There would be no more Mexican drug cartels because of The United Provinces of Canada's very strong army.Every on would be well educated and it would be a very peaceful and safe country.
