Ideal Interview: Due Friday, December 11th!

If you could interview anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?  What sorts of questions would you ask? Remember, you should include a strong topic sentence, supporting sentences, and a concluding sentence.  Here's an example:

If I could interview anyone, I would interview J.D. Salinger, the author of Catcher in the Rye and several other short stories and novellas.  Salinger remained reclusive throughout his life and died recently, in January of 2010. I would like to ask him about his creative experience while writing Catcher in the Rye such as how he came up with Holden's character, how much his own beliefs were reflected in the character, and why he was so reluctant to answer questions after the book achieved so much success.  I would ask him why he never made the book into a movie and how he feels about the fact that Catcher is required reading for many students nowadays.  When he was alive, Salinger turned down many interviews and remained an incredibly private author, and for this reason, I would like to probe him with questions about his life and creative process.

  1. If I could interview anyone in the world I would interview Lionel Messi. I would want to interview him and find out his training techniques. That would help me improve my game. I have also been wondering how much he gets paid. In short I think it would be cool to interview Messi.

  3. If I could interview anyone it would have to be the author of the Limony Snicket books. I am always thinking how can someone be that depressing and how so many people buy them. It would be cool to interview him/her.

  4. If I could interview any one I would interview albert instine and maybe he could tell me how he came up with e=mc2. I mean where did that come from and what is it for? What inspired him to lead in a career in atomic physics? I think just one minute with him would be an amazing meeting of the minds.

  6. If I could interview anyone that is alive or dead I would interview Michael Jackson because I would want to know what he felt like when he was on stage. Also I would find it interesting to know he dealt with the pressure of being famous, dealing with the media, and having millions of people looking up to him. That is why I'd like to interview Michael Jackson.

  7. If could interview anyone, it would have to be Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers. I would want to know how they got so good at football and why they chose to play football. I would also want to know how they dealt with media, and the pressure of being on the field in front of a bunch of yelling, screaming fans. To add on, I would want to know how they felt in the NFL Draft. The not knowing of who you'll play for and all. -Ian

  9. If i could interview anyone in the world, i would interview Aaron Rodgers. I would ask him a bunch of questions such as were you this good in high school, what team did you hope to get drafted by, who is your favorite player, and how does it feel to play for Green Bay. Those are the kind of questions i would ask him.
