  1. I think that courage can sometimes have rewards.
And a hero is always different from other because he/she has special powers.Even if a hero loses they are still a hero. Most of the people who receive the metal of honor died in battle. If someone gets a reward they are still a hero, but if they do it for the prize, they are not a hero.

  2. courage can sometimes have a loss.A hero is different because they were the chosen one. I disagree A HERO CAN LOSE but it can still be a hero. Yes if someone offers it to them after they do it,but if they beg for something or there is a prize before doing it then they aren't a heroes.

  3. Yes, to gain corrage you always must suffer some sort of loss or another because losses make you less afraid and more willing to do something dangerous for a good cause. Although they may have permanent consequences making your fear or incapability worse, for the most part i agree. In most tales or stories the hero mostly has a different birth then everyone else (e.x. luke skywalker) but they do not have too. Heros are not considered heros just because they win something, although most of the time they do. In my mind thought of what a hero is, is someone who does something dangerous or bad for their well being but helps or saves many people, often on a quest. If he or she gets a reward after doing something heroic, they are still a hero, unless the sole purpose of their actions was to get the thing out of it, but if they do it, and the reward just comes at the end as a bonus, then yes, they are a hero. - Evan

  4. i think that most courgege originates from loss I mean in spirited away she only was determined and focused because she was working to get her mother and father back. Sometimes loss does not affect the main character like in robe hood he never lost anything but others around him did so he had the courage to steal from the rich and give to the pour. When a hero is born they aren’t different from others it’s just the destinies of the heroes are different than the ones of regular people. In order to be a hero you don’t need to win Hitler beat other countries and he isn’t a hero (well at least in my book). If the hero/heroin receives any form of compensation he/she is still a hero I mean in spirited away she cot her mom and dad back right and in lord of the rings Frodo in his odd form of compensation he gets peace and freedom from saron and the ring

in all my glory joey m

  6. I think courage can involve a loss or sacrifice but it doesn't have to to be courage. No not all hero's are different from other people when born some are though. An example is that in Spiderman he is not born with special powers he gets them.No you do not have to win to be a hero. For example General Custer was a hero in the civil war and the Indian war but in the end he didn't win he died.I think that they are not a hero if the the reward is offered before[except for some exception],but if they are given the reward after they did it then they can still be a hero.

  7. I believe that to have courage you do have to suffer a loss. You would have a reason to have courage. Not nessisarilly, you can be born COMPLETLY normal and have something happen to you when you are a child. If a hero wins one battle to become a hero, then lose he next, he still keeps the name, "hero." If a person is offered a reward, and takes it, well that's greedy to me. But maybe like if the reward is a trip to the king, take the trip!

  10. no, because you can have the courage to face off against myles. Yes everyone is special in their own way. No because if you save people and die you are still a hero. If someone gives them a reward out of thanks they are still a hero. If they do it for a reward they are not a hero.

  11. No courage does not involve sacrifice or loss because you can have courage and never sacrifice anything at all. No because when you're a newborn no one looks at you and says, "You're a hero!" You have to do something to earn the responsibility of hero or heroine. No that is not true because if you die saving others, no matter what they'll look at you and remember you as a hero. I disagree because people looking up to you and thanking you is a reward and everyone will look at you as a hero still.
